CtOA addresses issues that impact its members and their patients. It communicates with legislative committees, individual legislators, Connecticut's Medicare Carrier, and insurance companies regarding issues that impact the care of oncology and hematology patients. Additionally, CtOA develops cancer care practice recommendations, utilizing the necessary best available clinical evidence and expertise.
