Location: Sheraton Hartford South (formerly Rocky Hill Marriott) Rocky Hill

Topic “Tips from the CT Front Line: Navigating Patient Access to Treatments”. Despite all the barriers (like step edits, prior authorizations, utilization management, even third parties seeking to manage patient drugs and sourcing), cancer centers in CT are finding ways to navigate and solve patient access problems. There are underused CT regulations, federal, state and other patient support programs, and other innovative resources. Join our panel discussion to learn and share your own ideas and suggestions. Please review your own successes and bring stories or links to your own favorite wins for patient access challenges. We hope for a robust interactive discussion – and perhaps to develop an ongoing patient access networking among CT cancer centers.
Panelists:
Christie Beausoleil is the Director of Practice Operations for Eastern CT Hematology & Oncology, a member of the OneOncology Network.
Donna Cortright is Patient Financial Assistance Coordinator at the Hartford Health Care Cancer Institute Hospital of Central Connecticut.
Katie Shea is Billing Office Team Lead for Medical Oncology & Blood Disorders, a division of Regional Cancer Care Associates.
